We are looking for a talented and motivated Senior Full Stack Developer to join our engineering team. In this role, you will architect, build, and maintain scalable web applications that power our digital commerce ecosystem. You will work across the entire stack — from designing RESTful APIs and SAP integrations on the backend to crafting responsive, high-performance user interfaces on the frontend. This is a high-impact position where your contributions will directly influence our customers' digital experiences. You will collaborate closely with product managers, UX designers, and platform architects to deliver best-in-class solutions Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain robust Java-based backend services and microservices Build and expose RESTful APIs following OpenAPI/Swagger standards for consumption by frontend and third-party systems Write and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and data models across relational databases (Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL) Develop and maintain integrations with SAP systems using BAPIs, Remote Function Modules (RFMs), and IDocs Implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms (OAuth 2.0, JWT) Ensure code quality through unit testing, code reviews, and adherence to OWASP security standards Build dynamic, responsive web applications using React, Next.js, and/or Angular Develop headless frontend architectures Consume and integrate RESTful APIs and GraphQL endpoints in frontend applications Optimize web performance including Core Web Vitals, lazy loading, and code splitting Implement component-driven development using reusable UI libraries and design systems Required Skills & Experience 6–8 years of hands-on, professional experience in full stack software development Strong proficiency in Java (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Hibernate) Experience with RESTful API design and microservices architecture Familiarity with JUnit, Mockito, or similar testing frameworks Solid SQL expertise — complex queries, schema design, indexing, and performance tuning Experience with one or more: Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MS SQL Server Proven experience with SAP integration Working knowledge of BAPIs and Remote Function Modules (RFC) Experience with SAP ECC or S/4HANA integration patterns Frontend expertise in at least two of: React, Next.js, Angular Strong understanding of JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript Experience building headless websites / Jamstack architectures Proficiency with Node.js for server-side rendering or middleware layer development Familiarity with version control (Git), branching strategies, and code review processes Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or similar containerization/orchestration tools Movado Group, Inc. is an equal opportunity employer.
