As a Project Manager Structural Design at our global IT services firm, your role will involve leading design projects and managing teams to deliver high-quality structural engineering solutions. You will be responsible for preparing schematic and detailed structural designs, leading a team of detailers and engineers, overseeing the design of various structures, and ensuring compliance with international design standards and codes. Your key responsibilities will include:
Prepare schematic and detailed structural designs including calculations and drawings
Lead and manage a team of detailers and engineers
Oversee design of steel, RCC, composite, wood, and light gauge structures
Ensure quality checks of design outputs and 3D models
Coordinate with cross-functional teams for project execution
Manage project estimation, budgeting, scheduling, and delivery
Ensure compliance with international design standards and codes
To qualify for this role, you should have:
815 years of experience in structural design, with a preference for building structures
Strong expertise in RCC (Reinforced Concrete) design
Hands-on experience with ETABS, STAAD Pro, or SAFE (any 12)
Knowledge of US Codes such as ACI, AISC, or ASCE
Experience in team handling and project management
Strong communication and coordination skills
Experience with Tekla, Revit Structure, or Advance Steel
Exposure to BIM and 3D modeling tools
