As an Operations Director/Chief Operating Officer, your role will involve overseeing various key areas within the organization:
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic sourcing, vendor development, and procurement
Inbound/outbound logistics coordination
Warehouse & inventory control
Scrap disposal
Managing Production & Manufacturing processes
Overseeing Machine Shop operations (VMC/CNC), Sheet Metal, Heavy Fabrication, and Assembly
Ensuring productivity, OEE, and cost control
Maintenance planning for preventive & predictive maintenance
Energy efficiency and spare management
Planning & PPC activities including MPS, MRP, and capacity planning
Logistics optimization and dispatch planning
Execution coordination for projects
Ensuring operational excellence, lean transformation, and gross margin protection
Managing working capital and production optimization
Implementing digitalization & data governance
Focusing on maintenance & reliability
Overseeing leadership, people, and safety aspects
Mitigating vendor risks and ensuring compliance with regulations
Qualifications Required:
BE/ME in Mechanical/Production/IE
Minimum 22 years of experience in manufacturing related to large infrastructural projects
Specialization in Automation (Textile, Warehouse, Material handling, and parking automation)
Experience in leadership roles with exposure to various operational areas
Hands-on experience in Lean Management, Working Capital Management, and compliances
Proficiency in P&L management, TPM, Quality systems, ERP, and MRP
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Willingness to work in Coimbatore
