Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with accounting standards and company policies. - Oversee invoice processing, payments, and collections for effective management of working capital. - Prepare and file GST, TDS, and Income Tax returns in accordance with applicable regulations. - Provide documentation and clarifications to internal and external auditors during audit processes. - Contribute to the preparation of budgets and forecasts, performing variance analysis to assist in strategic decision-making. - Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring all entries and data are accurate. - Prepare and analyze monthly Management Information System (MIS) reports to track business performance and recommend improvements. - Conduct ratio analysis, cost analysis, and profitability analysis to support business strategies. - Ensure adherence to statutory regulations and company policies, maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records. - Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and financial institutions as needed. Qualifications Required:
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and tax regulations. - Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, SAP, Oracle) and advanced MS Excel. - In-depth understanding of GST, TDS, and Income Tax regulations. - Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and accuracy. - Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Knowledge of ZOHO (preferred). - Semi-Qualified Chartered Accountant (intermediate level) with at least 5 years of relevant experience in corporate finance or an audit firm. - Bachelors degree in Commerce, Accounting, or a related field. - Previous experience in financial reporting, taxation, and audit support is highly preferred.
